The Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities announces a new funding opportunity with the release of the “New Approaches to Break Down Barriers” Call for Investment. The Council is seeking multiple projects which will address or solve identified barriers in one or more of these areas: early intervention, education, child care, employment. The Council recognizes that this is a time of change. This Call for Investment is intended to allow schools, providers, or other entities the opportunity to act on something they have identified as a need to ultimately improve life outcomes for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
